Jasmine Janaye is a singer-songwriter with a fresh, yet soulful sound. Born and raised in Alabama, she grew up soaking in a range of musical influences spanning jazz to rock, and everything in between.
During her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, she honed her vocal and arranging skills as a member of KeyChange, an a cappella group known for its distinct sound.
After 10+ years navigating the corporate world in New York and Atlanta, Jasmine found her way back to music during a life-changing summer with an artist collective in Kauai. That spark started her journey of writing original songs, exploring music production, and chasing creative freedom.
Now in Atlanta, Jasmine brings her heartfelt, indie-soul sound to open mics and intimate concerts across the city. Her debut EP, Note to Self, is a collection of songs about growth, healing, and taking a chance on yourself.
Whether performing live or writing in her living room, Jasmine’s music is a reminder to savor every moment and embrace every discovery. No matter how small, it’s all part of the story.
